Policies Governing Purchases, Shipping, Warranty & Service

1. General Terms and Conditions

Product Information & Liability
Customers agree that Infinity Computers is not liable for discrepancies between product images and descriptions. Specifications may change, and it is the customer’s responsibility to verify all product details before purchase. Infinity Computers is only responsible for the products listed on the invoice.

Sales Representative Authority
Our sales representatives are not authorized to make promises or agreements beyond these Terms and Conditions and the official warranty. Any additional provisions must be in writing and signed by an officer of Infinity Computers.

Multi-Item Purchases
Each item in a multi-item purchase is treated independently unless otherwise stated in the invoice memo. Issues with one item (defect, replacement, or cancellation) do not affect the entire order.

Shipping Costs & Refunds
Shipping costs are non-refundable once an order has been shipped.

Customer Responsibility for Order Accuracy
Customers must verify their order confirmation email for accuracy, including shipping and billing details. Infinity Computers is not responsible for customs policies, fees, or taxes associated with international shipments. Customers must be aware of import regulations in their location. If an email confirmation is not received, customers should contact support before placing duplicate orders.

Order Cancellations
Orders can be canceled before processing via phone or through our website. Cancellation requests via email or voicemail are not accepted.

  • Orders can be modified or canceled within 24 hours of placement.
  • After 24 hours, if payment was processed, a 4.9% processing fee applies.
  • If the order was built but not shipped, a 15% restocking fee applies.
  • Special-ordered components have a 20% restocking fee, even if the system has not shipped.

Shipping & Handling Fees
Shipping fees cover materials, packaging, and handling. Customers are not charged extra for multiple shipments unless they request an upgraded shipping method. Infinity Computers includes shipping insurance on all FedEx and UPS shipments.

Shipping Delays
Infinity Computers is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers. If a package is lost, the carrier must complete an investigation before a replacement is sent. Signature confirmation is required on most shipments. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address or a missed delivery attempt, additional shipping fees will apply.

Customer Responsibility for Specifications and Use Requirements

Infinity Computers provides products, repairs, upgrades, and recommendations based solely on the information supplied by the customer at the time of consultation, order, or service.

The customer is solely responsible for clearly communicating all required features, compatibility requirements, peripheral configurations, connectivity needs, software expectations, audio or video requirements, expansion needs, environmental conditions, and intended use cases prior to production or service.

Infinity Computers is not responsible for assumptions regarding unstated requirements, implied functionality, incomplete information, or undisclosed use scenarios.

Any system, component, or repair performed in accordance with the specifications and information provided by the customer shall be considered compliant with the agreed scope of work.

If a product or service is later determined to be unsuitable due to incomplete, inaccurate, or omitted information provided by the customer, Infinity Computers shall not be liable for any modification, replacement, reconfiguration, compatibility adjustments, or additional labour required.

Recommendations provided by Infinity Computers are based on professional judgment using the information available at the time and do not constitute a guarantee of compatibility with undisclosed hardware, software, peripherals, or third-party equipment.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all required inputs, outputs, expansion slots, power requirements, software compatibility, networking configurations, and operational needs are fully disclosed prior to purchase or service.

2. Limitation of Use / Intended Use Clause

Products sold by Infinity Computers are intended for lawful personal, commercial, and professional use. Infinity Computers is not responsible for damages or losses resulting from illegal use, misuse, unauthorized mining operations, server farm deployment, or use beyond manufacturer specifications.

3. Trademarks

All trademarks and registered trademarks displayed on the site are the trademarks of their respective owners and are not intended to imply any endorsement or affiliation between Infinity Computers and these companies.

4. Making Purchases

If you wish to purchase products offered on the site, you will be asked to supply certain information, including but not limited to credit card or other payment information. You agree that all information you provide to Infinity Computers will be accurate, complete, and current. You agree to pay all charges incurred by authorized users of your account and credit card or other payment mechanism at the prices in effect when such charges are incurred. You will also be responsible for paying any applicable taxes, shipping, and handling charges related to your purchases.

For security purposes, you may be asked to provide a photo ID, which must match the billing information on your order. Failure to provide valid identification may result in order cancellation.

5. Chargeback / Payment Dispute Protection

By completing a purchase, the customer agrees not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting Infinity Computers to attempt resolution.

In the event of a chargeback filed without prior communication, Infinity Computers reserves the right to provide order documentation, proof of delivery, billing and shipping information, phone numbers, IP address logs, signed confirmations, and communication records to the payment processor to dispute the claim.

Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may be pursued to the fullest extent permitted under Canadian law.

6. Where We Ship

Infinity Computers ships to physical addresses that are serviceable by the selected courier. Shipping to APO/FPO addresses or PO Boxes may be accommodated depending on carrier eligibility.

Customers are responsible for understanding and complying with customs regulations, import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees applicable in their location. Infinity Computers is not liable for any customs fees, import duties, taxes, brokerage charges, or international shipment delays.

7. When We Ship

Products are shipped only after the build process is complete.

Shipping & Processing Times

  • Ready-to-ship PCs24 business hours (weekends/holidays excluded).
  • Prebuilt PCs5-7 business days (weekends/holidays excluded)
  • Custom PCs5-7 business days (weekends/holidays excluded)
  • Enterprise Systems7-14 business days (weekends/holidays excluded)
  • Shipping delays due to address verification, fraud checks, or incorrect information are not Infinity Computers’ responsibility.
  • All shipping timelines are estimates and may change due to supply chain issues, order volume, or other unforeseen factors.

Your order may be delayed if your shipping address does not match what your credit card issuer has on file. Some orders that are shipped from fulfillment warehouses may require additional time for processing. We may also ship orders containing multiple items separately, which may result in deliveries arriving on different days.

Due to various circumstances, such as the inability to charge your card or verify your address, we cannot guarantee an exact shipping date. Selecting next-day air service does not mean you will receive the item the next day from your order date—it means you will receive it the next day from the date the order is shipped.

Shipping timelines are subject to change at any time without prior notice due to supply chain issues, order volume, or unforeseen circumstances.

Infinity Computers reserves the right to delay your order at any time after receipt for any reason.

8. Shipping Delays

Carrier Responsibility

Once an order has been shipped and transferred to the carrier, Infinity Computers cannot modify, stop, or reroute the shipment. Delivery responsibility transfers to the shipping carrier at that time.

If a shipment is reported lost, Infinity Computers will initiate a carrier investigation and assist with the claims process where applicable. No replacement product will be issued until the carrier has formally confirmed the shipment as lost and any applicable claim has been approved. Infinity Computers is not obligated to issue a replacement or refund prior to carrier claim resolution.

If a package is returned due to missed delivery attempts, refusal, or an incorrect shipping address provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping fees required to resend the package.

Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title for products pass to the customer once the shipment has been transferred to the carrier. Infinity Computers is not liable for loss, theft, or damage occurring after the package has been handed to the carrier. Customer assumes full responsibility once delivery confirmation has been recorded by the carrier.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

Customers must notify Infinity Computers within 48 hours of delivery if a shipment is lost or arrives damaged. All claims are subject to carrier investigation and approval. Infinity Computers will assist with the claim process; however, reimbursement or replacement is dependent on carrier claim resolution.

Third-Party Carriers

Infinity Computers utilizes third-party shipping platforms and carriers, including but not limited to GoShippo and associated courier services. Shipments are subject to the policies and procedures of the selected carrier. Infinity Computers is not responsible for carrier policies, service disruptions, claim decisions, or carrier-imposed limitations.

9. Order Acceptance Policy

An electronic or phone order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of an order. Infinity Computers reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, cancel, limit, or delay any order at any time prior to shipment for any reason, including but not limited to pricing errors, product availability, suspected fraud, verification issues, or inaccuracies in billing or shipping information.

Infinity Computers may require additional identity verification prior to processing or shipping an order. Orders flagged for potential fraud may be delayed, cancelled, or refunded at our discretion.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability as to Products Sold

You agree that the sole and exclusive maximum liability of Infinity Computers for any product sold or service provided shall be limited to the purchase price of the product or service.

In no event shall Infinity Computers, its directors, officers, employees, shareholders, contractors, or affiliates be liable under any theory of liability, whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, statute, or otherwise, for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, business interruption, or loss of use, even if Infinity Computers has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

 

10. Pricing and Website Errors

Infinity Computers reserves the right to correct pricing errors, typographical errors, or inaccurate product information at any time without prior notice. In the event of a pricing or listing error, Infinity Computers reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order placed at an incorrect price, even after order confirmation has been issued.

11. Returns

We accept returns on computers within 14 days of pickup or delivery for online orders and 7 days for in-store purchases. Please note the following:

  • No Returns After 14 Days (Online) / 7 Days (In-Store): Returns are only accepted within 14 days of receiving your item for online orders and 7 days for in-store purchases.
  • 25% Restocking Fee: A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns and will be deducted from your refund.
  • Return Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. If we provide a prepaid return label, the cost will be deducted from the refund.
  • Proper Packaging Required: Customers must return the item in its original packaging with all accessories. If a product is damaged due to poor packaging, the customer will be responsible for repair or replacement costs.
  • Final Sale Items:
    • Software is non-refundable.
    • Opened accessories (monitors, speakers, etc.) are non-refundable.
    • Custom-built PCs are final sale (except for warranty service).
    • Custom-built systems are considered final sale once production, assembly, or component allocation has begun.
  • Refund Timeline: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after the item is received and inspected.

12. Warranty Service

Infinity Computers provides a 2-year limited warranty on consumer custom, prebuilt, and ready-to-ship systems, covering hardware defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.

Enterprise and commercial systems include a 1-year limited warranty, unless otherwise stated in writing on the invoice.

Optional extended warranty coverage may be purchased at checkout and will be documented on the customer’s invoice.

All systems are built using new components unless explicitly stated on the invoice as refurbished or used. Individual components may carry their own manufacturer warranty, which may extend beyond the Infinity Computers limited warranty period. Manufacturer warranty coverage remains subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions and may be void if components are physically damaged, modified, improperly installed, or altered outside of intended specifications.

Lifetime technical support is provided for custom-built systems. Lifetime support refers strictly to remote troubleshooting guidance and technical assistance and does not include free parts replacement, hardware upgrades, on-site service, shipping costs, or labour outside the stated warranty period.

Warranty coverage is limited to repair or replacement of defective hardware components at the sole discretion of Infinity Computers. Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty is void if:

  • BIOS settings are altered, overclocking is performed, or crypto-mining is used.
  • Hardware is opened, modified, upgraded, or serviced by unauthorized parties.
  • Any unauthorized repairs, modifications, or part replacements are performed.
  • Third-party components not supplied by Infinity Computers are installed and cause system instability or damage.
  • Software is modified outside of our original setup, including OS reinstalls, unauthorized drivers, or unapproved third-party software.
  • Damage results from power surges, improper electrical supply, liquid damage, physical damage, improper installation, environmental exposure, or lack of maintenance.
  • The product is resold or ownership is transferred.

Normal wear and cosmetic damage are not covered under warranty.

Warranty Repairs & Shipping

Within the first 30 days of delivery, Infinity Computers covers standard ground shipping costs within Canada for approved warranty claims.

After 30 days, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs related to warranty service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If a product or component is discontinued, Infinity Computers may replace it with an equivalent or better component at our discretion.

Warranty service does not cover data loss. Infinity Computers is not responsible for data loss under any circumstances. Customers are solely responsible for maintaining current backups prior to submitting a system or device for service.

13. Repair Warranty & Service Terms

Warranty on repair services varies depending on the type of repair performed and will be clearly stated on the customer’s receipt or invoice at the time of service.

Unless otherwise specified in writing:

  • Computer repair services carry a limited 30-day service warranty covering the specific repair performed.
  • Select repairs may carry a 90-day limited warranty where explicitly stated on the invoice.
  • Some repair services may carry no warranty, which will be disclosed in advance and noted on the receipt.

Repair warranties apply only to the specific component or issue addressed during the original service and do not extend to unrelated components, pre-existing conditions, or new failures.

Warranty coverage does not apply if:

  • The device is opened, modified, upgraded, or serviced by another party after repair.
  • The device suffers physical damage, liquid damage, electrical damage, misuse, or neglect after service.
  • The issue is determined to be unrelated to the original repair performed.
  • Third-party or aftermarket components not supplied by Infinity Computers are installed.

For customer-supplied parts, Infinity Computers provides no warranty on the part itself, and any labour warranty, if applicable, is limited strictly to workmanship.

Infinity Computers is not responsible for data loss, loss of SIM cards, memory cards, or personal information during the repair process. Customers are responsible for backing up all data prior to service.

Repair services are limited to the work performed and do not reinstate or extend any manufacturer warranty unless explicitly stated in writing.

All diagnostic fees and completed repair labour charges are non-refundable once service has been performed, regardless of outcome, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customer is responsible for all inbound shipping costs when mailing devices for repair unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Infinity Computers does not guarantee compatibility of customer-supplied components with existing systems and is not responsible for system instability, performance issues, or damage resulting from such components.

14. Refused Shipments

Any product that Infinity Computers ships to a customer and is refused upon delivery will be subject to fees.

  • A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all refused computer systems.
  • Shipping costs for both the original shipment to the customer and the return shipment back to Infinity Computers will not be refunded.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that they provide the correct shipping address and are available to receive the package. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, refusal, or missed delivery attempts, the customer will be responsible for all associated fees.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Any disputes arising from purchases, services, or use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
